2. Bow tie with suspenders

Bow Tie Pattern
Ch 3; join with a slip stitch to form ring. Work 8 single crochet stitches into center of ring (this is your first round). Rounds 2-3: Work (1 sc, ch 1, 1 sc) into each stitch around. Join with a slip stitch at the end of Round 3. Do not turn work; continue working in continuous rounds throughout pattern. Round 4: Ch 2; work 1 hdc into same st as sl st join; *skip next st behind hdc just made, work 2 dc into next st on last round’s side* repeat from * to * until you reach beginning yo of previous round; skip next st behind last dc made and sl st into top ch of beg ch2–you will have one less dc than before because you skipped one between each pair!! Now working on opposite side of foundation chain–beginning with slip stitch beneath first dc at start of last round–work 1 hdc in same space as joining slip stitch was made (to form new rnd); *skip next sc from previous rnd behind current hdc just made and work 2 dc into next sc where you want these stitches now located… etc., etc., until last dc is worked under final sc from previous rnd then slst→into top ch↑of begch2 – You should have one less round than before because now we are following other side! You will now be able to see how this pattern works! Repeat steps 5-7 until desired length for tie ends up being about 31 inches long
3. Crochet Baby Cardigan Sweater
This crochet baby cardigan sweater pattern is perfect for any newborn baby boy, and it’s so easy to make that even a beginner can do it! It’s a quick project that will keep you busy until your little guy grows out of it. The best part? You don’t have to go out and buy new clothes for your son – just use this free pattern and some yarn from your stash!
This lovely little sweater has an adorable cable design on the front and back, with buttons down the front so it stays closed at the top. You can choose between white or grey yarn depending on what color sweater you want to make. All in all, this pattern is one of our favorite ones here at Crochet Spot because we love how cute these sweaters look on kids – not only that but they’re also very comfortable too!
4. Crochet Baby Set Hat and Diaper Cover
- Materials needed:
- 2 colors of yarn
- Crochet hook (size 3.5mm)
- Instructions:
- Chain 30 stitches in your first color, and then chain 30 in your second color. Join them together by slip stitching into the first chain stitch made with your second color. You should have 60 stitches total now on your row of crochet work. Now you will be working half double crochets into each stitch across this row; this will create a flexible fabric that can be worn by baby boys or girls alike! Work across all 60 stitches in this way, until you reach the end of it (you’ll just end up with a little gap at one end). Now cut off both ends so that they’re even and make sure not to unravel anything! Now we are going to start another new row using our third and final color which we’ve called “D” for demonstration purposes only–it doesn’t matter what order these colors come in because we won’t want them actually showing when we’re done making our project anyway!
5.Crochet Baby Dress Outfit
To make this crochet outfit, you will need:
- Crochet yarn in two colors (one for the dress and one for the hat)
- Sewing needle and thread to stitch together pieces of the crochet outfit. You can purchase these at any craft store or online.
- Safety pin, if you want to attach a blanket around your baby’s shoulders. This can be purchased at any craft store or online as well.
6. Crochet Baby Bibs
Crochet baby bibs are a great way to keep your baby’s clothes clean. You can make them in any color and design that you like. They are easy to make and can be used for special occasions or everyday wear.
- Materials:
- Yarn: Any color that you want!
- Crochet hook: A size G or H crochet hook works best for these bibs.
7. Rompers for baby boys
Rompers are comfortable and easy to wear. There is no need to worry about buttoning the shirt or pants, since they open in the front. They are also very stylish, and you can make them in any color or pattern that you like. You can even make them for a boy or a girl, depending on what size you choose (0-12 months or 12-24 months).
Rompers are also great because they actually look cute on both babies and adults! The ruffles on this romper add some extra flare while still keeping it age appropriate for your little one.
8. Umpire Knit Hat for Babies
To make this hat, you will need:
- A crochet hook. I used a size H/8 – 5mm hook. The finished product should be about 8″ (20 cm) in circumference. You can use any yarn that is soft, smooth and washable for the hat itself. I used Bernat Softee Baby for my sample hat, but there are so many beautiful options available! To make the umpire knit pattern on top of the hat, you’ll need 5 skeins of Loom Yarns’ Ump-R-Ump! in Navy Blue as well as 2 skeins of Red Heart With Love in White. The finished measurement should be between 16” to 20” so that it fits an 18 month old comfortably with room to grow into it later on down the road (you always want to leave room for growth).
9. Striped baby sweater for baby boys
Materials
- Worsted weight yarn in the following colors: white, light blue and blue.
- Size H/5mm hook.
Abbreviations:
- ch = chain
- hdc = half double crochet (half of double)
- sc = single crochet
Stitches used in this pattern:
- ch-1 sp (chain 1 space): Chain one stitch, work 1 stitch into the same stitch – 1 chain-1 space made.
Using long tail method or your preferred method of beginning, start with white yarn and make a magic ring (click here for tutorial). Ch 3 (counts as first dc), 11 dc into ring, join with a sl st to top of beg ch-3: 12 sts total including joining sl st
10. Basketball onesie for baby boys
Materials
- Sport weight yarn in three colors (I used Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice)
- Size F (3.75mm) crochet hook or whatever size is needed to get the right gauge
- Scissors
Gauge is pretty important here, but you should be able to make adjustments if need be. You need to get a gauge of 4 stitches per inch and 5 rows per inch when crocheting in the round using your chosen yarn and hook. If you don’t have this exact gauge, don’t worry—you can still make this onesie! Just make sure to use a larger hook than necessary for your yarn so that it will stretch easily over your baby boy’s head without being too tight or too loose on his body once completed. If your row gauge is right but not your stitch gauge, try working fewer chains at the beginning of each round; if it’s vice versa (your stitch gauge is good but not row), try adding another chain here or there before working into them.* When making a garment like this one that needs to fit snugly around its wearer’s neckline and shoulders, accuracy with stitch gauges becomes very important because otherwise it could end up looking sloppy when worn over time due to stretching.*
